From small fruits to juice
Fragolina suggests a little strawberry in Italian. Mazzetti d’Altavilla describes a recipe based on wild-strawberry juice: the sweetness and fragrance of those small red fruits are its starting point. Piedmontese grappa is part of the liqueur’s composition, supporting the fruit in a generous style intended to be immediately approachable on the palate.
Looking at the plant
The historical botanical plate shows a wild strawberry plant, with its leaves, flowers and fruits. It gives a recognisable plant to a familiar menu word.
Softness and aromatic freshness
The house describes a very soft, well-combined and balanced liqueur, whose fragrance and sweetness retain a fresh impression. At 21% ABV, the mouthfeel is clearly fruit-led, with wild strawberry as the main guide. Fragolina is a fruit liqueur; Fragolino, also found among our grape spirits, names a different raw material and a different type of drink.
At La Corte Segreta
Our measure is 4 cl. Wild strawberry, red berries, sweet and soft help locate it in a search. Mirtillo offers another small-berry profile within the same broad family of sensations.
