One harvest, one cask, one precise release
This reserve is a Schioppettino grape spirit, rather than a pomace grappa. It comes from the 2002 harvest. Maturation began on 14 October 2003 in Nevers oak barrique no. 405; the spirit was drawn from the cellars on 30 June 2022.
The official sheet states eighteen years under customs seal and only 460 bottles of 70 cl, with no colour additives. The number 405 identifies the cask. The 460 bottles belong to this release, not to every Schioppettino spirit Nonino has ever produced.
From dark berries to woodland notes
Wild blackberry and blueberry evolve towards woodland, pepper, honey and vanilla. The impression is rich and spicy: grape character retains a place within a spirit deeply shaped by time and oak.
Fruit, woodland impressions and spice interact in the glass. Honey and vanilla remain aromatic suggestions that accompany the richness of the spirit and its presence on the palate.
Let flavour guide the choice
We serve a 4 cl measure at 45% vol. Schioppettino, 2002, 405, woodland, blackberry, blueberry, pepper and woody are useful search terms.
The cask photograph illustrates work at the distillery. It does not claim to show barrique no. 405: this release is identified through the producer’s documentation, rather than through an unverified photograph.
